How to find us

Arriving by car from the A5/A66 (Nordwestkreuz)

  • At the Nordwestkreuz, take the A66 towards Miquelallee
  • After the bridge, take the very right of the four lanes and turn right into Hansaallee at the first set of traffic lights
  • From Hansaallee, turn right after app. 300 m into Bremer Straße
  • At the junction, turn right again into Fürstenbergerstraße

For entry into a navigation system:

  • Approach via Fürstenbergerstraße

By public transport:

  • From the Campus Bockenheim: bus numbers 36 or 75 to Uni Campus Westend (75,36), bus station Lübecker Straße (75) or bus station Bremer Straße (75)
  • From Hauptwache or Südbahnhof: U-Bahn numbers 1, 2, 3 or 8 to Holzhausenstraße, then it is just a short walk to the Campus
  • From Konstablerwache: bus number 36 to Uni Campus Westend
  • From Westbahnhof: bus number 36 via Campus Bockenheim to Uni Campus Westend
  • From Frankfurt Central Station: S-Bahn (numbers 1-9) to Hauptwache; from there U-Bahn numbers 1, 2, 3 or 8 to Holzhausenstraße, then it is just a short walk to the Campus

Location

The Center for Advanced Studies on the Foundations of Law and Finance is located in the House of Finance at Goethe University Frankfurt's Campus Westend.

The House of Finance combines several interdisciplinary research and education activities in the area of finance at Goethe University Frankfurt. It is an open meeting place and cooperation forum for academia, politics and practitioners from industry and regulation.

Altogether, 200 scholars conduct research and offer courses at the House of Finance, among them 40 professors – one of the largest research groups on financial and monetary issues in Europe. Its researchers belong to the University's Departments of Finance and Money and Macroeconomics (Faculty of Economics and Business Administration) as well as Corporate and Financial Law (Faculty of Law).
